COURT LIGHTING
Posted on 11 Apr 2010 by Cary Park News Team
It's finally in, our new court lights are up and working. So we can now play TENNIS into the evening, though as it is getting lighter now, we will probably not need the lights until the Autumn!
CARY PARK JUNIORS SPRING NEWSLETTER 2010
Posted on 28 Mar 2010 by Cary Park News Team
SPRING IS FINALLY SPRINGING..... & the thermals have been tucked back in the cupboard, and up at Cary park we are preparing for the new season with a few changes. The floodlights are up (you may have spotted them!) and it looks like they'll be working just in time for the lighter evenings (Woops!). At least they're up and its all thanks to Dave's endless work, who would think it would be so hard to get lights switched on, we are lucky to have power at all, it seems harder to get than a backhand volley. Sheila & Molly have been slaving away behind the scenes; Sheila still finds funding, i wouldn't be surprised if she was single-handedly responsible for the whole banking crisis & molly has been doing just about everything, in fact, I think she even put the floodlights up! Rachael has been working hard on court (when its not raining) I'm not going to tell you how wonderful she is, she'll be asking fro a rise, but needless to say we couldn't do it without her or all her merry helpers (or slaves as we call ourselves) slaps on backs all-round!
SO TO ALL CARY PARKERS, CARRY ON TENNIS (& KEEP CALM)

On November 26th Jo-Anne Downing, the LTA County Development Officer, presented the Chairman and Club Coach with a certificate and plaque after the club had passed its final assessment.
